Posco, Yusco Expected to Increase Stainless Steel Prices for Mar.
Reportedly, Posco and Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), the world's two large stainless steel manufacturers are predicted to increase the domestic and export prices for March.
Currently, as the nickel prices have surged sharply, most stainless steel mills have planned to increase the prices to reflect the production costs.
Analysts predicted that Posco would raise the prices by US$300/ton and Yusco would hike the prices by NT$7,000-NT$8,000/ton.
