SST 440c stainless steel straight wire
SST 440c stainless steel straight wire is one kind of martensitic stainless steel. The content of carbon in it is 1%, and the content of chromium is 16-18%. It is a high quality stainless steel, which has the feather of strong rust resistance. In the meanwhile, It can be used to make high quality cutters, such as medical scalpel, scissors, nozzles, bearings and so on. The ability of 440C to bear the dynamic load is low.
Scope of application: it is mainly used to make bearing parts working in corrosive environment and non lubricated strong oxidizing atmosphere. 440C has good high temperature dimension stability, so it can also be used as corrosion resistant high temperature bearing steel.
