European stainless market expected to rise in September
It’s reported that the European stainless producers including Outokumpu, Acerinox and Marcegaglia announced to raise its stainless steel prices by EUR 30 to EUR 50 per tonne for September and October, driven by increased prices offered by steel producers in Far East.
Besides, the nickel prices have jumped since August, supporting the European stainless producers to raise prices.
Meanwhile, it’s expected that the global stainless demand would recover in September after the stainless steel prices increase in international market.
