446 Stainless Steel Pipe

446 stainless steel pipe  :

446 stainless steel is highly resistant to high temperature and corrosion, and does not produce scale that is easy to peel off below 1082 ℃. It is used in the combustion chamber.

Stainless steel pipe is a hollow, long, round steel material that is widely used in industrial transportation pipelines and mechanical structural components, such as petroleum, chemical, medical, food, light industry, and machinery and meters. In addition, when the bending and torsional strength is the same, the weight is light, so it is also widely used in manufacturing mechanical parts and engineering structures. It is also often used as furniture and kitchenware.

For stainless steel pipes with an inner diameter of more than 6.0mm and a wall thickness of less than 13mm, an annealed stainless steel pipe with a W-B75 type hardness tester can be used. It is very fast and simple to test and is suitable for fast and non-destructive qualification inspection of stainless steel pipes. Stainless steel pipes with an inner diameter greater than 30mm and a wall thickness greater than 1.2mm are tested for HRB and HRC hardness using a Rockwell hardness tester. Stainless steel pipes with inner diameters greater than 30mm and wall thicknesses less than 1.2mm are tested for HRT or HRN hardness using a surface Rockwell hardness tester. For stainless steel tubes with inner diameters less than 0mm and greater than 4.8mm, the Rockwell hardness tester for pipes is used to test the HR15T hardness. When the inner diameter of the stainless steel pipe is greater than 26mm, the hardness of the inner wall of the pipe can also be tested with a Rockwell or surface Rockwell hardness tester.

446 stainless steel pipe Grading and craft:

Surface grade

stainless steel has the following conditions, the status is different, and the dirt resistance and corrosion resistance are also different.

NO.1, 1D, 2D, 2B, N0.4, HL, BA, Mirror, and various other surface treatment states.

Feature processing

1D—The surface has discontinuous granules, also known as matte surfaces. Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling.

2D - a slightly shiny silvery white. Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling.

2B—Silver white and better gloss and flatness than 2D surfaces. Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + quenching and rolling.

BA—The surface gloss is excellent and has a high reflectivity, like the mirror surface. Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + surface polishing + temper rolling.

No.3—There is a good gloss and the surface is rough. Processing: Polishing and temper rolling for 2D or 2B with 100~120 abrasive (JIS R6002).

No.4—There is a good gloss and a fine grain on the surface. Processing: Polishing and temper rolling for 2D or 2B with 150~180 abrasive (JIS R6002).

HL - silvery gray with hairline stripes. Processing: Polishing the 2D or 2B with an appropriate size of abrasive material to continuously polish the surface.

MIRRO—mirror state. Processing: Grinding and polishing the 2D or 2B with the appropriate size of the abrasive material to the mirror effect.
