201 stainless steel plates have the ability to resist general corrosion similar to the unstable nickel-chromium 304. Prolonged heating of 201 stainless steel plates in the temperature range of chromium carbide may affect the alloy 321 stainless steel plates and 347 in harsh corrosive media. 201 stainless steel plate is mainly used for high temperature application, high temperature application requires the material to have strong resistance to sensitization, in order to prevent corrosion in the lower temperature between the grains.
