BaoSteel becomes largest supplier of color coated steel to Shougang Caofeidian Project
It is reported that as Shougang Caofeidian project started the second phase construction, its first main factory building adopted more than 1000 tonnes of color coated plates produced by Baosteel raising the curtain of further cooperation between the two sides.
Since 2007, Baosteel has successively provided more than 35,000 tonnes of color coated plates for the construction of the main factory buildings of Caofeidian project becoming its largest supplier of color coated products.
Shougang Caofeidian project starting construction in 2007 is located at Caofeidian Industrial park in the south of Tangshan city in Hebei province with all the main factory buildings adopting color coated plates.
In the first project of its second-phase construction, Shougang Caofeidian project for the first time used CFC Al-Zn coated steel plate, Baosteel high end species which can further improve corrosion resistance of the products to meet the requirements in the construction.
As per report, in 2010, Baosteel high end market of coated products achieved breakthrough progress with cumulative volume of color coated and Al-Zn coated steel products for domestic large scaled steel structure top-level architectures reaching 50,000 tonnes, a new record high.
