5mm 316 stainless steel plate is the most common product in the market.

It is hot rolled plate with pickled finish and normally it is widely used in building, high pressure vessel, and automobile structure etc.

Classification of 5mm 316 stainless steel plate

1.Hot rolled stainless steel plate:

Surface is No.1(not so good as cold rolled sheet), but it is with good plasticity, usually the thickness is more than 3mm.

2.Cold rolled stainless steel plate:

It has high strength, high hardness and good surface. It is generally thin plate, and can be used as stamping plate, thickness is less than 3mm.

Applications of 5mm 316 stainless steel plate

1.structural steel. It is used in the production of general structural steel and welded structural steel, mainly used for the production of steel structures, bridges, ships and vehicles.
