    1. Application of 316 stainless steel:

    2. Application of 316H stainless steel:

    It has been widely used in heavy industry, light industry, daily necessities industry and architectural decoration industries.

    3. The characteristics of 316 and 316H are different:

    1). Features of 316 stainless steel:Due to the addition of Mo element, its corrosion resistance and high temperature strength are greatly improved. The high temperature resistance can reach 1200-1300     degrees, and it can be used under harsh conditions.2). Characteristics of 316H stainless steel:It has high toughness and plasticity, but the strength is low, and it is impossible to strengthen it through phase     transformation. It can only be strengthened by cold working.

    4.The carbon content difference of 316, 316L and 316H:

    316H has high carbon content and higher resistance to decarburization, so it is suitable for use under high temperature conditions. Poor welding performance and poor resistance to intergranular corrosion.     16L has low carbon content, worse decarburization resistance, and cannot be used at high temperatures. Good weldability and corrosion resistance. The carbon content of 316 lies between the two.
