The production expense is higher for stainless steel extrusions than traditional technology like cold drawing,hot rolling,cold rolling etc.Production Time in extrusions is longer,moulds are costy,the high requirement in extruded etc contribute the high cost .

The stainless steel extrusions application is so wide,that precision,automobile,electrical,aerospace,nuclear and other fields in which precision materials are needed.
Recently we have an order with a buyer from Spain about 316 stainless steel extrusions bar,customer have such a high request in materials’ high strength,and asking vendor that 316 bars should be extruded.The tensile strength they require is 1100Mpa,so extrusion is definitely needed.But rolling or drawing cannot achieve.
