Galvanized Steel Wire

  Production Process

It is made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire rod and is made of high-quality low-carbon steel, which is processed by drawing, pickling and rust removal, high temperature annealing, hot-dip galvanizing and cooling.

  Characteristic

The galvanized iron wire has good toughness and elasticity, and the maximum amount of zinc can reach 300 g/m2. It has the characteristics of thick galvanized layer and strong corrosion resistance.

  Application

Products are widely used in construction, handicrafts, wire mesh, highway fences, product packaging and daily civil use.

The wire for building bundling is 22# (0.71mm), the price is low, its characteristics are flexible and not easy to break. It is one of the most ideal wire binding in the construction industry, mainly using low-zinc cold-plated wire. Mainly used as low-zinc cold-plated iron wire.

Handicraft iron wire, using a special processing of a line, no broken ends, the amount of zinc on the uniform and bright, the general price is slightly more expensive.

Galvanized Steel Wire

The galvanized wire also includes the sprinkling line: the weight of each plate is about 100 kg-1000 kg per roll, which is mainly suitable for industrial, agricultural and animal husbandry.

The galvanized wire is divided into hot-dip galvanized wire and cold-galvanized wire (electro-galvanized wire).

  Hot-Dip galvanizing

Hot-dip galvanizing is immersion plating in hot melted zinc bath. The production speed is fast, the coating is thick but uneven, and the market allows a minimum thickness of 45 microns and a maximum of 300 microns or more. The color is darker, consumes more zinc metal, forms an infiltration layer with the base metal, and has good corrosion resistance. The hot-dip galvanizing can be maintained for several decades in an outdoor environment.

  Hot dip galvanizing application range:

Due to the thicker coating, hot-dip galvanizing has better protection than electro-galvanized, so it is an important protective coating for steel parts used in harsh working environments. Hot-dip galvanized products are widely used in chemical equipment, petroleum processing, marine exploration, metal structures, power transmission, shipbuilding and other industries, such as pesticide sprinkler irrigation, greenhouses and construction industries such as water and gas transportation, wire casing, scaffolding, bridges. , highway guardrails, etc., have been widely used.

  Cold-Dip galvanizing

Cold galvanizing (electro-galvanizing) is the gradual plating of zinc on the metal surface in the plating tank by the unidirectional current. The production speed is slow, the coating is uniform, the thickness is thin, usually only 3-15 microns, the appearance is bright, and the corrosion resistance is poor. It will rust in a few months.

Relative to hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanized production costs are lower.

The difference between cold galvanizing and hot galvanizing:

The difference between cold galvanizing and hot galvanizing is that the amount of zinc on the surface is different, and they can be identified from the color. The color of the cold galvanized is bright and silvery white with yellow. Hot-dip galvanized shines white.
